Hi guys,

@Pharan @[已注销]
I'm trying to create multiple skins on my character. But I seem to be losing the mesh deformations.

The initial skin can keep the mesh deformation but upon making a 2nd skin, I lose the mesh deformation and also the image gets displaced.

I tried having the 2nd skin inherit the 1st skin's mesh deformation, but it still offsets the mesh. I THINK the deformation was inherited properly?

Anyone have any ideas :think: ?

[EDIT] It seems if I use the 1st skin's "Created linked mesh", it copies over that mesh to the 2nd skin and in the same position. This is a stop gap solution. But it seems to use the same art as the 1st skin, will need to investigate. I'll leave these images here for others that might run into this problem.

If you use linked meshes you can change the Image Path in the properties below the tree. Please keep in mind that your images must have the same dimensions for this to work properly.

  1. Create a Linked mesh.
  2. Move the linked mesh under the Skin Placeholder.
  3. Select the Linked Mesh and look for Image Path. Change Image Path to your new image location.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a go when I come back to this skinning task and let you know if the problem is fixed. :handshake:
