  • Inquiry about Spine feature support

In Photoshop, the 'Overlay' blending mode is often used to express lighting effects, but since Spine doesn't support this mode, it limits the range of expression in animation. Also, to improve workflow flexibility, it would be great if a window separation feature, like in Photoshop, could be added.

[Spine - normal]

Even when using blending modes like Normal, Additive, Multiply, or Screen, it's difficult to achieve the saturated lighting effect that Overlay provides.

We have received a similar request from another user regarding the overlay blend mode, but since some game toolkits do not support overlay rendering, I think it will be difficult to implement it in the near future. For a detailed answer, please refer to the following thread, where Nate has provided a detailed answer in the past:

We have a similar idea in our roadmap, so I added a link to that thread as a comment in the issue ticket: EsotericSoftware/spine-editor322
