It appears that you are encountering issues when trying to switch to Spine runtime 3.7.94 on a Mac M3 Max using Spine 4.2.17. The error in your spine.log indicates a problem with the Metal plugin for the graphics driver:

ERROR: Error running legacy Spine launcher:
2024-07-10 20:36:28.137 Spine_x86[16877:4026511] getMetalPluginClassForService: Failed to find bundle for accelerator bundle named: AGXMetalA12 errno: 0

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

  1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your macOS and graphics drivers are fully updated. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with older software versions.

  2. Use Rosetta: Since you are running an ARM-based Mac, older versions of Spine (like 3.7.94) may require Rosetta to run. Ensure that Rosetta is installed and try running Spine again.

  3. Reinstall Spine: Sometimes, reinstalling Spine can resolve issues with corrupted files. Download the latest launcher from your Spine license page and reinstall it.

  4. Check for Interfering Software: Ensure that no antivirus, Finder enhancements, or other software is interfering with Spine. Software like Default Folder X or Rescue Time can cause issues.

  5. Try a Different Version: If possible, try running a different version of Spine that is closer to 4.2.17 but still supports your required features. This can help determine if the issue is specific to 3.7.94.

  6. Delete Spine Preferences: Delete the Spine preferences folder located at ~/Library/Application Support/Spine and then reactivate and run Spine again.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please provide more details about the exact error messages and any additional logs.
