Hi.
i´m making multiple character that will use multiple outfits. The arms willbe a single mesh, weighted and controled by 2 bones. So, to make the sleeves, I´m adding a new "sleeve drawing" mesh on top of the arms, with a linked mesh (links to the arm), so it follows the same movement.
It works perfectly... untill I close and open the spine file again. Then I gat the warning in the picture and my sleeves are all removed.
I´m pretty sure it can't be a spine limitation, since it already works, as long as I never close spine and open it again.
Please help me someone!
Thank you!

What version of Spine are you using and what is your operating system?
Also can you please post a screenshot of your tree structure before it starts giving errors? it says your linked mesh is not kept in the same slot, usually when you change slot to a linked mesh they all will follow to the next slot. did you change slots?

I'm trying to reproduce your problem, but everything works fine on my file, could you post very detailed steps of what you are doing/a video showing what happens?

Sure!
I made a video and wrote every step I take to make this bug happen everytime. It´s in the attached zip
I´m using Spine version: 3.6.36 on Windows 10

Did the video help?

Thank you Davi Clean!
Your video was very useful.
Normally you shouldn't be able to separate different skin placeholder parts, therefore this is a bug. I was able to reproduce and I created an issue:
#218 Dragging skin placeholder with linked mesh inside to a different slot is possible until restart.
For now please remember all the linked meshes originated from one linked mesh should stay in the same slot and are meant for different skins, but still in the same slot. If you wish to have it working in different slots you should duplicate the mesh before turning it into a linked mesh to have a copy for the arm and one for the sleeve, then you can turn the sleeve part into a linked mesh to change skins (:

By the way the art is so cute! I really like the piggie!

Thank you Erikari!
So, as I can see, I accidentaly found a way around to do something in Spine that I shouldn´t be able to do. That´s fine, but why should it have a limitation like that? It is SUPER usefull to have cloned meshes visible at the same time, and (as long as I don't close and open spine) it´s now proven that it works. Please make this not be a bug, but something I can use.
Your solution (duplication instead of clonning) do work, but it´s very limited, since they won´t share the same weights and mesh points in case I want to edit or animate the whole thing at once. I even saw some other posts in the forum requesting this feature from a lot of people. Please, this would help us A LOT!

P.s. Thanks! The Piggy is just one of the characters in our new game King Boom. So far, there´s an open Beta on android devices you can download for free.
