Hey hey, I'm new to spine.
I currently work in a team and we develop a game for unity in the style of "Don't Starve", so we have 2D Animations in a 3D World. I'm responsible for the correct implementation of the animations into unity.
Therefor I have my Player GameObject, and in this object I have 4 other GameObjects, for every direction one Object, and i activate/deactivate the object which i need. Probably some "quick and dirty" solution, but i works pretty fine!
But, our character can wear different weapons, and now I don't now how to get this to work!
Our approach was, that we have different Skins and when i equip a certain weapon I then change the skin of the 4 GameObjects. Technically it works! I change the the skin name with left.skeleton.setSkin("weapon_xy"), and when i use Debug.Log(left.skeleton.Skin) the output is the right name of the skin. But on the screen nothing changes.
We don't know if I don't do the scripting right or if we miss something to set in spine?
Everything I found here unfortunately don't give me an answer how to solve our problem =/
