Edit: figured it out, didn't notice the page's max w/h setting so it ended up splitting the image when using texture packer. Still didn't explain why I crashed Spine this afternoon though...
I have been trying to figure out for an hour but couldn't get it to work, and managed to crash Spine twice...
What I did was:
Open export and check Create atlas
Loading Image
In the settings I set to grid:

Then clicked on export, it ended up creating these files instead of a spritesheet

I thought I needed to use Texture packer to actually compile them into a single file, so I tried and ended up crashing Spine due to memory error, twice:

Anyone has any idea what happened and what I should do to export to a spritesheet? Thanks
