Hey there!
My name is Avetis,
today we released a (kind of an RPG) game to the Google Play store,
The thing is, we had about 27 characters for the game that had to be animated, and each of them needed to have minimum 3 animations, I am telling this because, Spine was the only tool that enabled us to do that. If we used sprite animations, our final executable would be of unimaginable size. And yet we managed to pack game to a very small file, and made all 27 characters in a week. So let me just say big thank you to Esoteric Software 🙂
So here is more for the game 🙂
We started it as just a test project to test out the level editor we developed, so we thought we wouldn't be very original on the idea, and developed a game in the existing popular genre. The point was to actually improve the editor by using it for a real project.
But we loved the agme. and tried to be creative in terms of how it looks, added a lot of passion to every element. And I am really proud of it.
It is called Tapventures, kind of an RPG game where you tap on monsters to kill them, and they drop coins, and you use coins to upgrade your tap power or hire companions to fight for you. It is very simple time killer, and it looks hopefully good 🙂
