iteam As Spinebot answered, the color of the bones list in the weights view is determined by the order. The top bone is always light blue and the second bone is always magenta. Thanks to this, it is convenient when multiple meshes are bound to the same bones and the same order and you want to compare the weights of them, but on the other hand, meshes like yours that are bound to many bones, some bones will have similar color schemes and it can be confusing. You may want to check the Selected option in the Weights view. When checked, pie charts are only drawn for selected vertices and vertices that have weights for bones selected in the bone list:
In the example in the image above, the colors of the front-leg7
and belly
bones are quite similar, but if only belly
is selected, only the weights for the belly
bone will be displayed, which will be easier to recognize.
