Hello,
this may be solved if you redownload and install the Spine installer from your license page again.
Could you please try and see if it works for you?

I am having the same issue - looks like http://esotericsoftware.com/ port 80 does not have a valid cert.... which is likely causing the issues above. Will attempt to uninstall and reinstall however, if you all are working around the cert issue on the client side instead of properly securing your website.... well... is this really a good idea?

esotericsoftware.com serves pages over both HTTP and HTTPS. It is secure with a valid certificate on port 443, which is normal. The problem with Spine not being able to connect to the server is due to your installation containing an expired certificate. Please download and reinstall Spine and it will work again. If you can't find your Spine license page link, you can use the recovery page (which is secure 🙂).

Sorry for the trouble! We have ensured the certificate problem won't happen again, however in the future you may still need to reinstall Spine to use newer versions. For example, the next version of Spine will be 64-bit and that requires reinstallation.
